AFO, walking splint, load relieving tibia and/or fibula region, prefabricated

Orthosis to control and hold the foot in neutral position in order to give axial relief to the tibia and fibula bone, so that the forces are transmitted from the higher tibia area to the floor. The orthosis is static and maintains the doors-plantar flexion through a rigid anterior tibia section.
Is normally used without a shoe; the user walks with the brace direct on the floor.
Made from plastic with plastic foam lining and metal bar.
