WHdFiO, wrist stabilisation orthosis, fingers in extension, static, prefabricated


Orthosis composed by one or two lined thermoplastic or moulded metal pieces normally applied dorsally with outriggers that surround the forearm. The pieces are locked with webbing straps. A metal bridge connects these parts with an hand support, which includes a dorsal extension where dynamic slings pull the fingers in extension. The wrist joint can be fixed in abduction/adduction or flexion/extension position. The spring pulls the wrist into extension. Prefabricated.
