Can partly or fully contain the leg and foot. Located inside the shoe.
The fully leg type is often made with extension build-ups for anisomelia.

Severe pathology of the biomechanics giving instability of the ankle and foot.

Indications are for example:
* ankle lesions of ligaments
* distortion
* weakness and ruptures of the ankle ligaments
* subluxations and suppinating trauma
* post operative support
* pseudoarthrosis
* charcot joints
* paralysis and paresis.

Supposed to stabilise the ankle joint and immobilise motion, keep the ankle joints and ligaments in neutral position during the swing phase and to prevent it for trauma during walking, enabling walking and participation in society.
To be applied in case the prefabricated version does not fit due to impairments of body functions and/or structures.
