KD-I, interface, step-in socket


Prosthetic interface to a knee disarticulation prosthesis which is a socket design needing additional and specific means for suspension of the prosthesis during the swing stage, like a pelvic belt or a hip fixation.
The socket may be made from wooden, acrylic resin or thermoplastic and may be combined with a liner or flexible inner socket.
