Prosthetic interface/Suspension for a trans-tibia amputation prosthesis essentially through cuff fitted around the knee and non bearing femur condyles.
Full contact socket if end bearing load.
Outer socket from thermoplastic or acrylic.
Can be endo- and exoskeletal prostheses.
Inner socket from elastic material, e.g. PE, EVA, Latex.
Possible additions:
* air pressure system for adaptation of the socket
* adapter for endoskeletal prosthesis

Contra Indication Text

instability of knee joint, e.g. arthrose
High varus/valgus load.
Activities with intensive contact between socket and stump.
Pain- and pressure-sensitive stump (bony surface).
Problems in the femur condilar area, missing skin.
Contact with water

Interface to fit a prosthesis after trans-tibia amputation for all standard activities (sitting, standing and walking) in daily vocation and recreation.
Intended for non bearing femur condyles with extra suspension cuff.
