LO, flexion orthosis, prefabricated

Rigid lumbar brace introducing a high abdominal compression through abdominal pressure pad, that forces a backward tilt of the pelvis towards anti lordosis. The increase of the intra-abdominal pressure, leads to erection of the spine and limits the pelvis rotation. The orthosis corrects the spine in the sagital plane and avoids lordosis.
Different versions exist, such as:
* dorsal and ventral plastic shells, connected lateral with Velcro straps metal locks (Raney-Jacket)
* circular brace with ventral and dorsal opening.
