Orthosis designed to progressively extend the elbow against flexion contraction. Elbow extension is possible against an increasing extension force. It has upper and lower arm sections of leather or thermoplastic, bilateral unicentric joints and elastic straps or other mechanical devices (springs) to pull the elbow into extension. Custom made.

Ulcers at the area where the orthosis fits.
Bony structure of the elbow area.

Orthosis to control the elbow in extension with mechanical power, to enable execution of daily activities in order to participate in society.
To be applied in case the prefabricated version does not fit due to impairments of body functions and/or structures.
