EO, elbow fixation orthosis, custom made


The orthosis is designed to immobilise the elbow joint in a particular functional or pain free fixed position without interference with the wrist or hand. Is composed of an anterior and a posterior section that closes with webbing straps, Velcro or a zip without joints. Made of thermoplastic or rigid foam.
May include a strap or simply shoulder harness for fixation of the orthosis.

Orthosis to immobilise the elbow joint and keep it in a functional position enabling execution of activities of daily life in order to participate in society.
To be applied in case the prefabricated version does not fit due to impairments of body functions and/or structures.
