EWHdO, elbow pronation and supination immobilisation orthosis, custom made


Orthosis designed to limit the range of motion of the elbow and wrist joint by immobilising pronation and suppination. The orthosis covers the epicondyles, the elbow joint and the forearm up to the wrist level. The orthosis is normally composed of two thermoplastic shells with dorsal and palmar Velcro straps.

Orthosis to avoid pronation and suppination of the forearm to keep the hand and elbow in a functional position, to enable activities and to participate in society.
To be applied in case the prefabricated version does not fit due to impairments of body functions and/or structures.
