FiO, finger extension orthosis, PIP and DIP joints, dynamic, prefabricated


Orthosis composed by small metal rods which connects a number of padded areas creating a multiple point pressure system with an elastic element (spring) on one finger that guides the PIP and DIP joints into extension. Designed to extend through rigid guidance the following joints
* proximal interphalangeal (PIP)
* distal interphalangeal (DIP).
Also available in the form of a set of rings, acting as three-point supports.

Fixed joints.
Ulcer at the area where the orthosis fits on the finger.
Excessive oedema.
