WHdFiO, wrist stabilisation orthosis, hand-finger motion/grip, body powered, prefabricated


Orthosis composed by a plastic or metal hand section, plastic or metal finger stabiliser and forearm section, connected with a rod for variable grasp opening, locked with Velcro straps. Opening and closing of the finger part with flexion/extension of the fingers at the MP-joint is controlled by converted wrist flexion/extension. A Ratchet lock may be added. Includes also versions with a flexible cable instead a rigid rod.
