WHdO, wrist-hand stabilisation orthosis, dynamic, prefabricated


Orthosis composed by one or two lined thermoplastic or moulded metal pieces normally applied dorsally with outriggers that surround the forearm. The pieces are locked with webbing straps. A metal bridge connects these parts with an hand support, which includes a dorsal extension and functions as a joint. The wrist joint may be locked into abduction/adduction or flexion/extension. Prefabricated.
